It&#039;s also worth noting that according to the IPCC fourth assessment, 100% emissions reductions in 2007 would only decrease atmospheric concentrations by 40 ppm by the year 2100. In other words, emissions reductions as a single strategy is USELESS. Only soil will be able to reduce atmospheric concentrations quickly and cheaply. And it will require a transformation of agriculture and range management, not just modification or tweaks to existing technology.</description>
