News Break: Another Record Day for Oil

Once again oil prices broke new records on Tuesday. Futures contracts for light sweet crude surged on intra-day trading to a high of $122.73 settling to a close of $121.84 per barrel – up another $1.87.

Oil has risen more than $20 since thus far for the year.

Attacks on oil facilities in Nigeria, Africa’s largest oil producer, continue with more attacks by militant over the weekend.
