Mr. Schueneman,
Would you be interested in reviewing Richard Sale's new book *The Scramble for The Arctic: Ownership, Exploitation and Conflict in the Far North* on Global Warming is Real site?
Thanks,
Bob

I felt it might be an interesting topic to discuss the launch of the 130% Wind Powered search engine. Can the purchase of renewable wind credits reduce carbon emissions?

Hello all-
I'd like to give you a heads up about some action that is happening around the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act. Could you post some content about it?
On Monday, October 26th, The League of Young Voters Education Fund had launched a viral public service announcement entitled "Shut Up Windmill", aiming to both entertain and educate young people about the Climate Bill, while encouraging them to take action. "Shut Up Windmill," which was written, directed by and features League staffers, pokes fun at America's reliance on dirty energy and asks viewers to get engaged in the conversation. The campaign can be found at http://www.shutupwindmill.com.
Thanks!

Love Letters to the Future is designed to raise awareness about climate change. We are putting out a call for people to create messages for the future – as a 140 character text, image or video – and upload them to http://www.loveletterstothefuture.com.
A time capsule is being built to preserve the 100 most popular messages voted on by the public at the loveletters' site. It will be sealed at a live event in Copenhagen, to be re-opened in 100 years, on December 13, 2109. – and it could include your message!
Help us spread the word!
Our goal is to collect a critical mass of love letters and present them to the world during the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen on December 13, 2009.
Anyone can be a part of this project! Create your love letter to the future – as a video, image or 140 character text – and upload it to: http://www.loveletterstothefuture.com
We have compiled promotional material (banners, widgets, RSS feeds, tweets, etc.) that you could use online. Please send us a blank email to pr@loveletterstothefuture.com to let us know that you are interested.
Hey Tom,
Love the site and what you guys are doing, keep up the good work!
I'm from peacepaint.com, we distribute a weekly newsletter to 350,000 people interested in social justice, nonviolence, ecological responsibility and renewable energy.
I have a few questions about the site, and would love to talk about possibly working together. Send me an email at your convenience.
Thanks Tom!
Talk about denial… Are any of these morons up on current events? The entire world knows that global warming is a big scam. These people are probably heavily invested in carbon credits. You know, planning to make a fortune from our pocket books… Wake up people! Global Warming and the Big Green movement is run by a bunch of money grubbing carpet baggers, and this site is full of them…
Thanks for the intelligent comment Dana. "This site is full of them…" I love these comments where people have absolutely no clue and thus go on some personal attack against people they don't know. Yours is the best one in awhile. Keep that open mind – it really helps make for a better world.
just wanted to let everyone know that lake erie has frozen over the first time in 14 years, explain that. i bet when you say global warming you really mean climate change, right. is that how you will continue your lie now that global warming has been busted. you people dont even look at the real facts right in front of your face, 5 feet of snow in dc is not global warming. i used to believe in global warming until the they said me breathing co2 was bad for the enviroment and wants to tax me for that, WAKE UP!! you people have need to get some help with your denial, you all really look foolish!
Hi NIck,
Wow, I guess you really told us, eh?
1) When I look out my window I don't see Lake Erie… Hmm… Never mind, probably way too subtle for you.
2) A quote from Gary Garnet, a meteorologist for the National Ice Center:
"Garnet said it is fairly common for Lake Erie to freeze, and in an average Ohio winter, it is close to completely frozen most years."
3) Five feet of snow in DC isn't global warming. It's winter.
4) I assume you had science class in the third grade, right? So your understanding of biological respiration and the natural carbon cycle is such that when Glenn Beck et. al. tells you that anyone, anywhere has suggested a tax on your "breathing CO2", you believe it? That's pretty weak, man. (Think about it, if you can. Where did that CO2 that you're exhaling just come from?)
Nick, I've got no problem letting you get your say in. But before you go blathering on about how others look foolish, you may want to take pause and consider it is you that is being played for a fool.
The fact is there are very thoughtful and intelligent people that are skeptical of global warming. I'm happy to discuss it with them. You, however, sound completely reactionary (to the seasons, no less) and have no idea what you're talking about.
Go read a book or something. You've got to try a lot harder than this.
Hello
We'd love to be in touch with you about your blog. Please get in touch with me at your earliest convenience.
